Following a swag of Top 40 hits, (A Better Day, Crying, Liar Liar, Grandma's Diary), Michelle Walker proves she most certainly is Here For The Fight with this latest fast-paced single. Written by Michelle along with Hugh Curtis and producer Lindsay Waddington, this is the only co-write featured on Michelle’s album A Better Day. Michelle’s gutsy and positive attitude shines throughout this warrior’s anthem which is all about standing up for what you believe in and having faith in yourself.
The current single Grandma's Diary, with a special story to tell from Michelle Walker has made a big leap into the National Country Top 40 Tracks, debuting at number 16. Michelle would like to thank all her friends, family and fans for the ongoing support shown throughout her career.

The most emotional and rewarding song to pen, Michelle brings to life a story straight from the pages of a young woman living in the late 1940s, passed down from generation to generation. Grandma's Diary strikes a sweet chord of nostalgia somewhat lost in today's hustle and bustle, reminiscent of a time of hall dances, courtship and family values. Whilst at the Toyota Country Music Festival in Tamworth, Michelle received one of the Kross Kut Records Music Awards for 2016. This award is given in recognition for musical contribution to Kross Kut Records and for a successful year. The other recipient of this award was Ken "Chainsaw" Lindsay. Congratulations Chainsaw!
