 Michelle has received a Terry Smith Achiever award alongside fellow country music artist Donnie Soper and Kross Kut Records producer/artist Lindsay Waddington at the Gloucester and District Country Music Awards. These awards are given in recognition to contributions to the country music industry and are in honour of the belated Terry Smith who was himself known as a great contributor to country music and was very supportive of upcoming artists. Michelle would like to thank all involved in organising and running a great festival!
 Have you ever loved someone so much that they’ve driven you completely crazy? COULDN’T LIVE WITHOUT YOU, a collaboration of voice and song between TYSON COLMAN and MICHELLE WALKER, light-heartedly captures the differences that have been known to exist between couples throughout the ages. Richly flavoured with bluegrass, this track showcases the calibre of production coming from LINDSAY WADDINGTON’s studio, KROSS KUT RECORDS. This is the first release from Tyson’s album, BREAKING FREE (coming soon) and will also feature on Michelle’s forthcoming album.
Jack & Jillaroo is a brand-new release from Michelle Walker. This heartfelt track is a co-write from the pen of producer and Golden Guitar nominee Lindsay Waddington and Michelle. It tells of the special lifelong bond that exists between dog and mankind and is a story of friendship, loyalty and how unconditional love can inspire us to perform great acts of strength. This is another fine production from the studio of Kross Kut Records. Michelle and Lindsay are currently at work on Michelle’s fourth album which is set for release in 2018.

Michelle will be one of the featured artists at the Gympie Music Muster alongside the line-up of all-Australian stars, with artists including Golden Guitar winner Lyn Bowtell, Darren Middleton, Chelsea Basham, Kaylens Rain, Judah Kelly, Joe Robinson, charity ambassador Fred Smith, and Kyle Lionhart and many more. Keep an eye out for two Tamworth Songwriter Association Showcases where Michelle will be joined by Bowen & Clare, Becci Nethery and Brendan Narwocki to give you two hours of original music.
